Why Does Clea Use These HOA Lawyers As Business Consultants ?

 What a waste of money. We are paying $99 a month for one private road, stormwater management and a lot of landscaping work on private properties, which is 100% unlawful. 


I hate to say this, but I think 95% of HOA issues would be solved with two simple rules:  (1) Only people under the age of 55 may serve on an HOA board or committee, and (2) board and committees may only meet 4 times a year, and such meetings are limited to 1 hour each.  (MEMBER meetings can occur as often as members want).

    What can our HOA waste legal $ on. The insurance companies pay and defend the lawsuits. Plus, any HOA member is empowered to handle compliance of the governing documents on their own.

  Good afternoon, - I am in the Office of Real Estate Assessments.  We have the responsibility to value all real property in the City every year at its fair market value for taxation.  Real property is the interests, benefits, and rights inherent in the ownership of physical property (the land and all things attached to the land by people). The Office of Real Estate Assessments does not approve documents recorded in the Land Records, but we will value property based upon any changes to the rights of property owners made by the legal recordings.  We will change a property's value if the legal recordings are determined to impact value and if we can demonstrate the adjustments necessary to the property value using market sales.
