Thank you for getting this site going. I am a condo owner in Powhatan. Our COA would be better off doing their own landscaping. Not to have to deal or  Margo or the landscaping committee is a bonus. By the way, when is Frede Ottinger going to moved into assisted living?
Why does Clea Benson, Margo (the Branaic) Detwiler, Maria Bodoo, Lew Silver, Patrick Doherty,  and Asha Mead think our HOA can use HOA assessments for landscaping on private lots when all HOA members are not receiving the same service and HOA members have no access. Not to mention, the HOA does not own the land. Maria Boodoo needs to pay back the customized landscaping she received on her condo property paid with HOA assessments.
Listen to the 8 minute mark. Where is the the legal justification for our invalid HOA Parking Policy Clea promised us on September 28th, 2023.  Big surprise we never received a legal explanation. Our Declaration was drafted before the Batts v. Manchester Oaks case. In this VA Supreme Court ruling, the court rules all HOA members have non-exclusive easement to all HOA common areas. This is a huge cover up by Clea Benson who lives in a ungarage town home. She is preventing her neighbors across the street from parking in front of their own homes. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1BHcYZLp7ufTu5-aQAPVtw86NHELqRzrL/view
I will make a hard assumption and the people buying the ungarage homes on Van Valkenburg lane do not realize those assigned parking spots are not deed and the HOA Parking Policy is invalid? Who would a million dollar town home without any dedicated parking?
Does anyone know why our HOA pays an incompetent and predatory community manager 129k per year when our HOA owns limited land, zero buildings, no pool, no gym, no parking garages, no meeting room, and no clubhouse. Our HOA has no requirement for a community manager to be onsite on a daily basis.
Does anyone know why our HOA is not providing landscaping services to the Dylan Condo Association? But they are still providing landscaping services to the other 3 condo associations.
As a HOA member, why can't I park on Van Valkenburgh Lane, which is a HOA common area. In Batt v. Manchester Oaks, the Virginia Supreme Court ruled all HOA members have  a non-exclusive easement to  all HOA common areas. Therefore, our HOA can not discriminate and assign two spaces to the ungarage town home owners,
